MONCTON, N.B. – A 60-year-old New Brunswick woman has died after she was hit by a car on New Year’s Eve.

The Codiac Regional RCMP responded to a single-vehicle collision involving a pedestrian around 10:48 a.m. on Dec. 31 at a business on Mountain Road in Moncton, N.B.

Mounties say the pedestrian was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

They say the the woman died from her injuries on Friday.

Mounties say the crash is believed to have occurred when the pedestrian was walking to her vehicle and was hit by the driver of the vehicle who didn’t see her.
